Mirtha Villarreal, President/CEO of Agile Construction Inc. She holds a Master of Leadership from University of Southern California (USC) and has held many Senior Executive positions in both the private and public sectors. Mirtha has over 22 years of military service, several overseas tours with a one-year combat tour in Afghanistan in 2004. She was a gubernatorial appointee with California Veterans Affairs, Deputy Secretary Minority Veterans, charged with advocacy, outreach, policy, and program development. Mirtha served as the Chief of Staff for the California State Military Reserve (CSMR) with responsibility for Emergency Operations, fiscal oversight, training, and personnel management. She served for three years Director of State Personnel, California Military Department, responsible for all aspects of human resources to include creating and publishing new policies and regulations for the modern era. She has a passion for serving our veteran and underrepresented communities, and in 2018 was awarded Veteran of The Year by Disabled American Veterans (DAV) California chapter.
