Women Veterans needed to walk in the parade!

The Parade will begin at 10:50am at the corner of Lincoln Way and Cleveland Street and will proceed down Lincoln Way. The parade will pause at the Central Square at 11:00am. There will be a brief patriotic ceremony with the release of doves, followed by a fly-over (weather permitting), a three volley rifle salute followed by TAPS. The parade will resume onto High Street and end at the Gold Country Fairgrounds.

The first 500 veterans will be awarded a commemorative medal (you must be present to collect your medal) honoring all veterans who have defended our country every day since the Battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775. American flags and programs, listing the units in the parade will be distributed to spectators along the parade route.

There will be a complementary luncheon with hotdogs, chips, cookies, soft drinks and it will be served at the Maurine Dobbas Placer Hall. All participants and spectators are invited to attend.
