This year marks the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Phyllis Wilson, president of the Military Women's Memorial, will discuss the decision to walk 174 miles in honor of the 174 women killed in action during the Global War on Terror. Phyllis Wilson, a retired Chief Warrant Officer 5, served for more than 37 years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve in several echelons ranging from tactical to strategic. She continues to serve the military community as president of the Military Women's Memorial, home of the only historical repository documenting all military women’s service.
