In a previously male dominated podcast space, Women's voices, topics, and ideas were often left out. We are currently in a space where women listeners are closing in on their male counterparts, yet the number of women podcast hosts and content still lags. It’s important to be able to identify with the voices you listen to and feel represented. Podcasts have power and can serve as an ideal platform for women of all backgrounds to share their perspectives, culture, stories, advice, and truths to others. Bio: Curtis and Corinna met in the U.S. Air Force and have been married for almost 15 years. They have 3 kids and currently reside in Tampa, FL. After military retirement, Curtis found an outlet through podcasting to continue his passion of meeting and learning about people from various walks of life. Together they host The Culture Marauders podcast where they “Maraud on all Culture” with the intent of enlightening and entertaining their audience. During the pandemic many people were looking to start a podcast and needed assistance, and therefore The Culture Marauders, LLC was created. Curtis and Corinna are passionate about supporting small business owners and started a creator network to collaborate, network and grow together. They feature various entrepreneurs on their podcast and social media to help promote their business. Additionally, they offer podcast production services and training to help businesses start and run their podcasts. These services include show development/design, video and audio editing, social media marketing and equipment sourcing. If all you want to do is “speak and drop the mic” they can help with that too and take all the editing and distribution of shows off your plate. They also started two initiatives to help “Elevate” the voices of women and children by providing hands-on training for podcast equipment and technology. Their goal is to continue assisting others to use their voice and passion to inspire a world of change. One Culture. One Blood. One Love.
