Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Healing for Veterans: How Horses Heal Trauma

Wednesday, May 3rd

12:00pm Pacific / 3:00pm Eastern

What do horses have to offer women veteran survivors of trauma/PTSD/MST? Insight into how animals respond to and heal from traumatic events. Horses are the original trauma brain: experiencing/witnessing and supporting how they respond to life events despite being "prey" guides the recovery process for humans, women in particular. Learn about the healing potential of horses through stories of women veterans' experiences and how equine therapy might be a suitable approach for you or someone you know.
